Preparing for a show with Three Rivers Women's Collective
You need:
Up to date Artist/Crafter membership (annual)
Signed Exhibit form (annual)
Completed Inventory Sheet (new one for each show)
(All of these forms are available
on the website)
Items for sale with clearly
marked price tags/placards – including your inventory number and price.
Space may be limited (as in
the case of Kelly Greens and Salmon Ruins – we have only two booths
– not the usual 3.5 booths) so all of your items may not be displayed.
In order to accommodate the fact that not all items may be shown at
once – please place ALL of your items in a large
plastic tub/container with lid. The lid and container should
both be well-marked with your name. These tubs will be stowed
under the tables. As your displayed inventory sells, we will try
to replace it with similar items from your container. Your items
should be packed well to ensure against damage in transit and at the
show. Items such as large framed artwork that may not fit in a
container should be well wrapped and protected with artist’s name
visible on the outside wrapping.
The set-up/hanging committee
will try their best to ensure that everyone’s artwork is shown to
its best advantage.
If there is no
exhibit form on file or inventory form for the current show
– your items will not be placed for sale. If the price and inventory
information is not on the item – it will not be sold.
You are responsible for having
your items ready to hand/show and getting your items to the show and
for collecting them in a timely manner at show closing. If you
have made arrangements with another member to either drop off or collect
your pieces, that is fine, but TRWC will not be responsible for the
pick up or retrieval of pieces.
